"Stop For Death" available NOW!

Rebecca Lappa's new single “Stop For Death” produced by Tomas Brabec at Octavo Productions, was released on Oct 13, 2021.

This song was inspired by Emily Dickinson's best known poem Because I Could Not Stop for Death and the Dickinson TV show.   "Stop For Death" is  an uptempo rock tune with a hint of Billie Eillish set in 1800s Massachusetts. The mix of Greek mythology and all American poetry takes the listener into the world of Emily's Dickinson's love affair with death and darkness.

“Stop For Death” is available EVERYWHERE

Edmonton Folk Festival - Four Strong Winds Sing-A-Long

Rebecca Lappa got to be part of the Edmonton Folk Music Festival Four Strong Winds Sing-a-long, with Mary Chapin Carpenter

"It was an honour to be included in the four strong winds finale video.

I have had great experiences playing the Edmonton Folk Festival over the past few years, so it was nice to join in with the community and celebrate the festival.

Even though we wern't able to gather, sing, dance, and laugh this year I could still feel the joy. We all share special memories from the hill, that's what brings us together."
